Quaife-Hobbs Selected As MSA Race Elite Driver

BRDC Rising Star Adrian Quaife-Hobbs, from Tonbridge, Kent has been selected by the judges to be one of the first six drivers on the MSA British Race Elite Programme. The 16 year-old, who narrowly missed out on his first Formula BMW podium finish last weekend, joined 19 other young hopefuls for a series of interviews at the MSA last week.

There a panel of judges whittled down the 20 finalists to the final six who will benefit from the Programme which will begin with a fitness assessment at the Department of Sports Development at the University of Bath.

The full programme will cover all areas of physical and mental preparation and training, track performance and developments, technical and engineering awareness in areas such as engine, gearbox, suspension, tyres and electronics. It will also bring in experts to advise on career management, media and promotional activities, sponsorship and presentations training.

The MSA British Race Elite programme will be operated by Brabham Performance Clinic, headed by David Brabham and mind coach and sponsorship guru Don MacPherson.

“To be acknowledged by the MSA/Brabham Performance Clinic is a great privilege,” said Adrian. “I am looking forward to working together to further my racing career."
