Adrian Quaife-Hobbs has become the youngest ever driver to receive BRDC Rising Star membership when his performances were officially recognised by the prestigious Silverstone-based British Racing Drivers’ Club yesterday. At just 15 years and 95 days old, the reigning BRSCC T Cars Champion, from Tonbridge, Kent, joins an impressive list of top British drivers including A1GP drivers Robbie Kerr and Alex Lloyd and F3 stars James Walker, James Jakes and Jonathan Kennard. Adrian becomes one of 40 drivers, out of an estimated 25,000 drivers in the country, to be nominated as a BRDC Rising Star with selection by invitation only. All Rising Stars are supplied with a unique BRDC badge with their own name incorporated and decals are supplied for the race car and overalls.
