Excitement was added to the timed qualifying sessions this month as competitors who qualified in 6 th place won themselves a test day voucher in celebration of the club’s 6th anniversary of holding MSA sprint meetings.

Adrian Hobbs had a lights to flag victory in the grand final of the large Minimax class. With rivals Kenneth Andrews, Jolyon Palmer and Bradley Smith waiting for the slightest mistake from Adrian it was up to him to continue his current good form that is leading him the championship. Adrian, however was not in the mood for mistakes and pulled away slightly leaving the others to fight for 2 nd in what was very close and competitive racing. At the flag though, it was Adrian who took the honours with Jolyon Palmer in 2 nd and a delighted Bradley Smith in 3 rd. Kenneth Andrews, who had earlier in the day finished 3 rd in the Junior Max class, finished a superb 4 th in this class.  Robert Foster-Jones took the novice trophy out of the large contingent of novice drivers in this grid.

The excellent drives over the day also saw Adrian Hobbs win the prestigious Anniversary Shield for ‘Driver of the Day’.
