His stunning pace in both races, in which he was consistently the fastest driver on track, has allowed him to extend his series lead to 43 points.

    Adrian Quaife-Hobbs has confirmed the 2012 season with Supa Nova International for the Auto GP World Series Championship.

    Adrian Quaife-Hobbs competed on a one-off deal at the first round of the championship at Monza earlier this month. The former GP3 title contender converted pole position into a race-one victory, before scoring a podium in the reverse grid race two.

    Leading the drivers' championship, Quaife-Hobbs is eager to maintain his early advantage.

    Adrian Quaife-Hobbs enjoyed a dream start to the 2012 season, with victory and third place in the opening two rounds of the AutoGP World Series at Monza this weekend, to take his first ever single-seater double podium. The 21 year-old from Tonbridge, Kent, only confirmed his plans to contest the Italian rounds on Thursday, heading out to the historic Grand Prix circuit that evening.
